i am going back to school in two days.

i am sad to leave this small farm town where my heart resides

but i am looking forward to a quick five months filled with:

classes in sculpture, history, writing, book making, internships,
study dates, coffee (from my new french press!),  friends, birthdays, 

 flights home to see mom, music festivals, long nights, early mornings, 

pancake sundays, yoga, and weekend getaways back to my love.

i sure hope so.

oh and can i just express how excited i am for april 13-15?

florence, feist, beirut, radiohead..

i cannot wait.

i am helping my cousin with her wedding flowers this spring,

and i cant help but pick out some things of my own..

i haven't posted since before school ended.

since then, i have:

gotten an A on my research paper

passed all my classes; alive

went dancing in the city to celebrate

dined on rooftops

landed an internship at a local gallery

spent christmas with the family

had coffee with my favorite florist

done yoga

read whatever i wanted to read

sat and talked with my grandma

watched the southern california sunset go from 

gold to pink to red

had new years tea flowers with my beloved brother

spend good, quality couch time with my father

survived the holidays

cried because i didn't want to leave
deactivated my facebook account

made my way back up the coast

stopped in the town where my heart resides

spent time in the cafe reading, dreaming, sipping tea
perused the farmers market, my lovers hand in mine

that pretty much brings us up to date.

my, have these last few weeks been out of this world

how i want to just sleep forever, in the woods, like this..
